DTGO Research Head Wins “Saint Francis” Award

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singh Intrachooto, Chief Sustainnovation Officer of Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC), received the “Saint Francis of Assisi Award” for world-saving innovation.
8 August 2023, Bangkok – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singh Intrachooto, Chief Sustainnovation Officer of Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC), received the “Saint Francis of Assisi Award” for world-saving innovation.
RISC is a research hub by MQDC, the property developer within DTGO, to raise standards in well-being and sustainability across the real estate sector.
A representative of the Vatican presented the award at the Parliamentary Building.
RISC research contributes to MQDC projects such as The Forestias, a 64-hectare forest district at Bangna.
RISC has developed standards to conserve and restore green space in urban developments. The center’s researchers have also found new ways to “upcycle” plastic waste in building materials.
The award is part of the “Power of Love” collaboration between the Sub-Committee on Morals and Ethics under the Committee on Religions, Morals, Ethics, Arts and Culture and the Catholic Association of Thailand and Port Authority of Thailand.
