DTGO Protects Mangroves with “Bufa Ranger”

DTGO-backed non-profits helped teach children about mangroves at a “Bufa Ranger South” event, where kids planted trees, picked up trash, and learned about waste.
24 June 2023, Pattani – DTGO-backed non-profits helped teach children about mangroves at a “Bufa Ranger South” event, where kids planted trees, picked up trash, and learned about waste.
Buddharaksa Family Association, Buddharaksa Foundation, and Dhanin Tawee Chearavanont Foundation welcomed 45 students from Ader Raza Islamiyah School.
Buddharaksa Foundation scholarship students shared insights on looking after the environment and led waste collection activities.
The foundation teams and students planted over 500 mangrove saplings with support from Blue Carbon Society, an environmental foundation supported by DTGO.
Blue Carbon Society also gave presentations on marine and coastal resources to the students.
The Ecotourism Club of scholarship students organized games and gave a tour of the school’s trash-sorting area, where the children took part in activities and were given school supplies.
The event concluded with a filling lunch in an atmosphere of happiness and fun.
The foundations thank all supporters for their donations to share happiness and look forward to more great projects in the future.
