Translucia Metaverse, Thailand's first virtual world, held a global forum on the upcoming immersive world of the Metaverse with support from MQDC, the property developer within DTGO.
15-16 December 2021, Bangkok – Translucia Metaverse, Thailand's first virtual world, held a global forum on the upcoming immersive world of the Metaverse with support from MQDC, the property developer within DTGO.
Ten world-renowned researchers, marketers, strategic leaders, architects, designers, and graphic designers spoke at "Metaverse Unlimited", held online on 15-16 December.
Translucia Metaverse is being developed by T&B Media Global (Thailand) with MQDC as the first partner. MQDC will develop projects in the online world, where users will interact with each other and computer-generated surroundings.
The forum was opened by Ms. Cathy Hackl, the "Godmother of the Metaverse". The 9 other top-level speakers included Fox Harrell, a professor at MIT; Pat “PP” Pataranutaporn, a researcher at MIT Media Lab; Alain Chesnais, the computer graphics genius behind Avatar’s stunning imagery; and Ms. Jeanne Lim, an expert on interaction with AI.
On its second day the forum featured Jeremy Bailenson, a VR guru from Stanford University; David Bray, a strategy executive; Ms. Ashley Casovan, a researcher on rules in virtual worlds; Shajay Bhooshan, a celebrated architect applying VR to design; and Saenawee “Knot” Chatameteewong, who is using computational design to transform architecture, engineering, and construction.
