DTGO Research Head Joins Koyori Project for Thai Craftspeople

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singh Intrachooto, Chief Advisor to Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC), joined the committee for the Koyori Project 2021, dedicated to helping craftspeople through exhibiting products from 8 northern provinces at Central Festival Chiang Mai.
12 October 2021, Chiang Mai – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singh Intrachooto, Chief Advisor to Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC), joined the committee for the Koyori Project 2021, dedicated to helping craftspeople through exhibiting products from 8 northern provinces at Central Festival Chiang Mai.

RISC is a research unit for sustainable development and well-being set up by MQDC, the property developer within DTGO.

The center holds events and exhibitions and curates public resources including a library of 500 eco-materials at its 990 sqm center in Bangkok.

The Koyori Project aims to enhance the skills, potential, and revenues of people involved in handicrafts in northern provinces, helping develop inspiring, unique products that meet market trends in the New Normal. The exhibition features products from the 8 provinces of Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Phrae, and Nan.

Dr. Anek Laothamatas, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), gave a speech, sharing advice on developing innovation under a national strategy involving collaboration from all Thais.
