29 January 2021, Chonburi – Buddharaksa Foundation worked with MQDC, the property developer within DTGO, to present 10,000 surgical masks to help protect frontline officials against COVID-19 at Baan Amphur community and Sattahip checking point.
MQDC Senior Manager Mr. Tanin Winwacharawach said that the recent COVID-19 outbreak has turned parts of Chonburi into high-risk “Red Areas”.

“Cooperation among all sectors, with volunteers providing protection and preventing the spread, will enable Na Jomtien to control the situation,” he said.

“So we’d like to thank everyone, especially frontline officials, for giving all their time and energy for the safety of citizens.”

The surgical masks will be sent to hospitals, schools, temples, and volunteers including the Health Promoting Hospital of Na Jomtien, Na Jomtien Police Station, the Municipality of Na Jomtien, Ban Amphur School, Ban Hin Wong School, Wat Na Jomtien School, Local Environment Volunteers, Civil Defense Volunteer officials, and monks and officials of Wat Ampharam.

Buddharaksa Foundation was set up under the vision of Mr. Dhanin and Khunying Tawee Chearavanont, its Honorary Chairmen, to create opportunities for those who need help in Thailand, regardless of their race or religion.
