DTGO and RISC experts speak at Sustainable University meeting

12-13 December 2019, Chiang Mai - Asst. Prof. Pongporn Sudbanthad, a DTGO advisor, and Dr. Jittapat Choruengwiwat, a VP of RISC, spoke at the Sustainable University Network of Thailand (SUN Thailand) 4th Annual Conference at Chiang Mai University (CMU).

'From SDGs to BCG: The Sustainable Strategic Plan for Thailand's Higher Education' gathered 200 academics and students from 34 universities to discuss the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on the 55th anniversary of the founding of CMU.

Asst. Prof. Sudbanthad gave a keynote speech on his work for the community, fostering sustainable development through the Urban Action team, building neighborhoods and enhancing quality of life for communities by working with universities and the government.

Dr. Jittapat presented on research that led to a circular economy project involving the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, CMU, the Thai City Planners Society, and the private sector.
The conference focused on collaboration in the academic sector and planning strategies for the public and private sectors to work together.
