MQDC debuts “Mulberry Grove” for Intergeneration Family Living

24 June 2019, Bangkok – MQDC held a press conference to officially launch “Mulberry Grove by MQDC,” super-luxury residences for Intergeneration Family Living under the concept “Nurturing Intergeneration Happiness”, at Magnolia Ballroom on the 10th floor of Waldorf Astoria Bangkok hotel.

Mr. Visit Malaisirirat, CEO of MQDC, said that families are shrinking as the younger generation sets up separate households. MQDC recognizes that for the happiness of all generations, families should come together not only on special occasions but every day.

“MQDC is determined to build the best environment for every generation to live together with happiness,” he said.

“We are creating an environment for people of all generations to live together. And we are building sustainably with healthy, high-quality projects that meet customers’ requirements and answer society’s living needs.”

Mr. Roongrote Chongsujipan, Senior Vice President at MQDC, said: “Our research in coordination with the Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC) shows a very clear trend, leading to our residential development under Mulberry Grove as part of providing for intergeneration living and building close families, which is a foundation for true happiness,” he said.

Residences under Mulberry Grove are developed under 4 key concepts:

1. “Designed for Intergenerational Harmony” For the first time, residences have been designed to support family time spent together in happy moments.

2. “Caring Community” At Mulberry Grove, spaces are designed for all family members and communities to enjoy activities together.

3. “Value Creation Neighborhood” through Intergeneration Living, which will link to the value of communal culture that Thais used to enjoy through living in extended families and helping each other.

4. “5-Dimensional Well-Being” for happy family life. The various elements of well-being are achieved through innovations and technology, social relationships and connections with nature, cutting-edge construction, materials that are safe and environment-friendly, and ‘universal design’.

“In 2019, the Mulberry Grove will launch 3 projects in 2 locations, together worth over THB19 billion,” said Mr. Chongsujipan. “The first project will be officially launched in the third quarter of this year. Mulberry Grove Sukhumvit is on Sukhumvit Road near BTS Ekkamai Station and will be a high-rise project with 37 floor and 286 units.”

Mr. Chakrit Hassarangsee, Vice President of MQDC, added that the other location is in The Forestias at Bangna. “The Forestias is a large-scale development on 300 rai at Bangna-Trat KM. 7 where some Mulberry Grove residences will be situated. It will have 2 parts — cluster villas and low-rise condominiums to be launched by the end of this year,” he said.
