DT Families Foundation and APLMA team up to end malaria in Thailand

Bangkok 4 May 2018 – Khun Thippaporn Ahriyavraromp, GCEO of DTGO Corporation Limited and Founder of DT Families Foundation (DTFF), and Dr. Benjamin Rolfe, CEO of the Asia Pacific Leaders Malaria Alliance (APLMA), signed an agreement that will make a tangible difference to eliminating malaria in Thailand.
Dr. Wit Soontaranun, EVP of Strategic Social Contribution and President of DTFF, joined a panel discussion on the malaria situation. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singh Intrachooto, Chief Advisor of Research and Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC), and Khun Sasinan Allmand, EVP of Corporate Marketing and Communications, and many VIP guests attended the event at RISC on the 4th floor of Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard.
According to the World malaria report 2017, worldwide malaria cases in 2016 were estimated at 216 million, up 5 million from the previous year, as emerging forms of drug-resistant malaria in the Greater Mekong threaten a resurgence in malaria-related deaths.
