Blue Carbon Society, a non-profit supported by DTGO, held “Young Blue” campaign for students to save the earth through the “Small People Think Big to Save Environment” initiative at local schools.
9 November 2022, Phetchaburi – Blue Carbon Society, a non-profit supported by DTGO, held “Young Blue” campaign for students to save the earth through the “Small People Think Big to Save Environment” initiative at local schools.

The “Young Blue” campaign aims to discover “Blue People”, pupils who will help conserve marine and coastal resources.

“Small People Think Big to Save Environment” was held at Wat Pak Aull School, Wat Rat School, Bang Tabun Wittaya School in Bang Tabun, Ban Laem subdistricts.

Mr. Chalermkiat Kraichit, an expert in marine and coastal ecosystems at Phetchaburi, spoke on environmental knowledge with guidelines for conserving and restoring ecosystems.

This activity lets children share their views on the environment around them, along with giving guidelines for organizing activities that will help promote the development of the Bang Tabun for community living in the future.

Blue Carbon Society was set up to conserve and restore the marine and coastal environments vital for curbing the impact of climate change.
