Blue Carbon Society, a DTGO partner in environmental action, joined a cleanup at Klong Bang Thalu and visited the Coordination Center for Mangrove Conservation of the Royal Thai Armed Forces in Chao Samran.
11 May 2022, Phetchaburi – Blue Carbon Society, a DTGO partner in environmental action, joined a cleanup at Klong Bang Thalu and visited the Coordination Center for Mangrove Conservation of the Royal Thai Armed Forces in Chao Samran.

Blue Carbon Society joined local volunteers to remove garbage from Klong Bang Thalu.

The team also visited mangroves and met with Mr. Kasitada Kloydee, a tourism expert, as well as Phetchaburi Marine Protection Volunteer Group, community leaders, and local youth groups.

Blue Carbon Society’s representatives discussed with them how to develop and conserve marine ecosystems and coastal communities.

The meeting covered development guidelines under the “Sustainable Mangrove Master Plan” for forests under the care of Royal Thai Armed Forces and local community groups.

Blue Carbon Society was set up by DTGO’s founder, Mrs. Thippaporn Ahriyavraromp, with Dr. Jwanwat Ahriyavraromp, the CEO of T&B Media Global.

The foundation is dedicated to conserving and restoring the marine and coastal environments that are crucial to countering climate change.
