After employees complete their probation period I meet them for 15-20 minutes to get to know them and ask questions.
After employees complete their probation period I meet them for 15-20 minutes to get to know them and ask questions.

One question I always ask is: Since working here, what's been most stressful?

They often talk about difficult project times, with pressure, lack of sleep, and uncertainty.

My next question is whether there is any work they are

particularly proud of.

Most will answer the most stressful project!

This is a paradox. What causes most difficulty may give us most satisfaction.

So if you are facing a serious problem, don't get discouraged or beat yourself up.

Every problem has a solution. Take time to find it.

When you get through it, you will look back with gratitude.

The toughest challenge is the most worthwhile.
