Buddharaksa Foundation Signs MoU for Education Program

1–2 November 2020, Khon Kaen – Buddharaksa Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN (IRDTP) of Khon Kaen University, along with Dhammajarinee Wittaya School, Wat Sa-Kaeo School, and Woraditwitthayaprasuit School, to develop an education program at the institute.
The DTGO-linked Buddharaksa Foundation was set up under the vision of Mr. Dhanin and Khunying Tawee Chearavanont, its Honorary Chairmen, to create opportunities in various fields for those who need help in Thailand, regardless of their race or religion.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maitree Inprasitha, Vice President for Education and Academic Services, Acting Director for Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN, Khon Kaen University, led the ceremony with Dr. Wit Soontaranun, Vice Chairman of the Buddharaksa Foundation, as well as directors from the 3 schools.

The MoU aim to help develop an innovative education program with an open approach for primary and secondary schools.

The institute has held training seminars on lessons and an open approach for 50 teachers from the 3 schools. The Buddharaksa Foundation also visited Kookum Pittayasan School to observe a pilot implementation of the program to prepare and develop school education for the future.
